IS: Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic

It seems like these free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics keep sneaking up on me, almost like the one this Saturday, July 25 did. It looks like this weekend they’ll be showing kids how to build helicopters, which is pretty darn cool to me. I actually once wanted to become a helicopter pilot, but then changed my mind when I found out how hard they were to fly. I’m not even sure I’d be able to fly this little toy. I know some part spins and then there’s…like another spinny…thing. Oh forget it, I didn’t want to play with the toy anyway!

Does anyone ever go to the Lowe’s Build & Grow clinics?

Yes, I’ve taken my son & daughter 3 times now. (Ages 8 & 9) They love it! They also give each kid a Lowe’s Apron & eye protector goggles to keep & wear everytime they come. And each time they complete a project they get a patch to put on their Lowe’s apron and a Certificate. This is a great freebie!

Yeah, I get at least two or three thank you emails every week from a parent who just returned with their kids after a trip.

Home Depot has something similar. Go to http://www.homedepot.com and search for Kid’s Workshop
