General Mills Cereal at KMart for $0.50

KMart currently has a 4/$6 sale on General Mills cereal, which is a decent deal in and of itself. However, if you stack coupons on top, you can get the cereal for much cheaper. Some current GM coupons available include:

Obviously, you can’t use more than four coupons since you’re only buying four boxes of cereal, but feel free to mix and match the coupons above and any you might have to lower the price as far as you can. Just using the coupons above, you could buy a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Honey Nut Cheerios and Cheerios for a final result of 4/$2.

Last time I went in a Kmart with a fist full of coupons, I was told no, they do not accept printed coupons. How sad!

I only tried using them once there, after consulting management they let me use them, but I’m sure other managers would not. Call and ask before you print, if they say yes, get the managers name before you head out.

Just called my local Kmart (MD.) was told they only accept the coupons that come out with the Kmart email newsletter. There were coupons in the Sun. paper for $1.00/3, they do accept these, makes Cinnamon Toast Crunch $1.25 box. Still a great deal!

If your local KMart doesn’t accept printed coupons, they are in the wrong. Email their customer support and ask about their coupon policy. You’ll then get a reply (in about a week) with their official corporate policy, which explicitly states that stores should accept scannable printed coupons. Print it out and bring it with you the next time you go shopping.

Goob, did what you said, emailed customer support, received a prompt reply. They stated that they DO accept “secure online printable coupons”.
Now if I can just get my printer to work, we’re good to go. TYVM.

BTW, our WalMarts (and most, I think) price match current ads. I will use this ad and these coupons at WM and save myself a special trip to KM. I had already planned this and had some other coupons, but the $1 off 1 coupons are awesome and make the deal even sweeter. Thanks Goob!!!

Would only allow me to print 2 coupons. So with the $1.00 off 3 coupons, should cost me $0.75 a box. Great deal!!

Ok, so just got back from Kmart, girl at the register took the coupons without a second look! As I said varies from store, employee, and/or manager. Ay, yi, yi!

I’d love to try this deal, but I don’t see the coupons for the Chex cereal?

Goob, you are my hero! I would live on cereal if I could & at $.50 a box, I just might for a while. My tummy thanks you!! xoxox

Went to Kmart yesterday. Sign on shelf says 4 for $10 but it is 4 for $6 if you buy 4 boxes. If you buy more it’s $2.50 a box. So I went to the register with 4 boxes and my $1 off a box. When she rung in the boxes a Catalina coupon printed out for $2.00 off if you buy 5 boxes. So she let me go get another box and use that coupon immediately (for some reason she rang it in as $2.50) so I got 5 boxes for $2.00.

I took all 5 boxes to my son’s school and gave them to the Headstart Pre-K teacher to use for extra breakfast and snacks for the kids. (Headstart is for low income families so I know that those kids really need a good healthy breakfast… I try to help them out whenever I can.)

I just printed 2 of the $1 off coupons with no problem! I also did the ad match at Wal Mart…we do that all the time. The coupons made a great deal even better! Love the site btw :)
