Free French Fries on 4/16

Is Friday some kind of national french fry day? What am I missing? I ask because Jack in the Box is giving away free french fries on Friday, April 16. In addition, some California McDonalds are giving away free fries as well on the 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

Why? I have no freaking idea. I think they’re trying to mess with us.

    I think they may be celebrating the passing of Apr. 15, tax day. I think Starbuck’s and others are giving stuff out too.

    The fries at JITB are free cuz they have “new” fries and so they are allowing ppl to sample a free small fries. I kno becuz I got the email a few days ago.

    Maybe because people are eating healthier and their sales are down? I dunno, but hey, they’re free! :)

    Some mcdonalds are requiring that you print out a coupon for a little heads up

    What is your perfect fry? I found out todau (at Jack-in-the-Box) that I prefer a moderate crispy outside, and a thick potatoey center.
