Free Activities For Kids This Weekend
On Saturday, May 1, there are three free kids events. The first is the free Home Depot kids workshop from 9am-noon where they’ll be building a picket fence planter. What’s that, you ask? It looks like a flower pot in the middle of a chair. So…yeah.
If you finish up early, head over to the free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic from 10-11am and put together a little schoolhouse. Note that you can reserve a spot by signing up online.
Finally, head over to Michaels from 1-3pm for their Make-It Take-It Mother’s Day Bead event. It looks like they’ll be building a bracelet and earrings. I just hope they compliment my eyes!

interestingly enough, the school house from lowe’s looks just like another kid we did but with different stickers. Hmmm….. I like the one comping up next weekend though: the trellis planter. It looks like a cute project.
Just a note….lowes requires you to be pre-registered online because the spots fill up right away….
