Free Jose Cuervo Items
If you have a texting plan on your cell phone, text 1795 to 283-786 and you’ll receive a Jose Cuervo recipe along with a link to a website where they’re giving away Jose Cuervo freebies. Oh man, don’t talk about alcohol right now. Let’s just say that after hanging out with my mom last night, I’m craving some major hangover food right now.
The freebies change daily, but you can sign up once per week through September 15. Today’s options include:
- Margarita Shakers
- Salt Rimmer
- Music Download
- $5 mail in rebate coupon on Jose Cuervo Especial Gold
Past freebies have included margarita glasses and pitchers as well. I suspect that they have a verification system in place to see if people have actually texted them or not, but feel free to try your luck if you don’t have a cell phone.
Also, the giveaway is void in TX and TN, which seems like a shame. I have a feeling people in those states enjoy Margaritas just as much as the rest of us.

I’m not sure if my Firefox had problems reading the site or if the site is acting up but it let me sign up, but not choose my freebie. I just received an emails saying I would receive margarita shakers.

With no area code, my phone wouldn’t complete the text transmission. So I just clicked on the link to the Jose Cuervo website and it aske for my name, address, etc and then gave me option of glasses, pitcher, shakers, coupon, etc…..we’ll see if it worked in a few weeks

For people having problems with this:
You need to fill out all the information, including the captcha, before the list of available items will be populated.
Otherwise there won’t be anything to choose from.
Am I losing my mind or is there no “1989″ year option available on their site?
Even though the years 1990-2010 are listed, make sure you enter a birth year that makes you at least 21 years old. For some reason 1989 is missing, so choose a year before that.
Mine doesn’t have anything to choose from either. No place that says “captcha”.
I live in Texas, we have some weird liquor laws and one is that the liquor companies can’t give us anything, no rebates, etc. So I sent it to my sister, the choices-she’s in Delaware-were a music download, $3 instant rebate or $5 mail-in rebate. Choices may depend on where you live.

I live in Oklahoma and went to this site yesterday, having no problems just no confirmation email about getting my pitcher. I went back today and was going to have the glasses to my other address and the only options I had to choose from was a music download and a coupon. I chose the download but I really wanted those glasses!
I received a confirmation email & my brother just received one, however he was only able to chose between the free music download or $5 rebate. I got lucky and got the glasses.

It works by just clicking the hyper link. All the good stuff must be gone, all they offer is 3 bucks off a bottle, minus the worm. Mezcal is the way to go!

@#28 Tammy – It isn’t a phone number, it’s a SMS short code, used for texting only. That is the entire number.

I read through the rules and it says you can enter once a week per email address. And also there will be more giveaways added daily switching over at 12am EST. This Giveaway will end on Sept 15th.

This IS Valid in TN you have to use the “tearpad” card that is by the Jose Cuervo items, here is the direct quote from the rules:
“TN residents only must order items using the official tearpad order form found at participating TN retail accounts. “
This keeps telling me over and over to select my giveaway but there aren’t any options

Everytime I got to the address part and put in my state (AL), the “giveaway” box would change to say “no more giveaways today”. I waited and tried again today but got the same thing so I finally completed and submitted and got a message saying enjoy your giveaways, but didn’t say what I’m supposed to get.

I sent in for the Jose Cuervo Rebate from the newspaper ads. Do you know where I can find info to followup on it? I havent heard anything.
I got my margarita ball in the mail today. it is a basketball sized plastic fish bowl with a pump handle. It ought to be fun
so i won ONE free marg ball and today FIVE were waiting for me when i got home!
Somehow I wound up with six margarita balls! I can’t believe they would send so many to one address. What does anyone want with six of them? (I didn’t know what they were so I think I requested at least three. Pretty sure I didn’t request six, though!) So, everyone is getting one for Christmas. I suppose you could use it to dispense shampoo in the shower if you buy shampoo by the gallon!
I was supposed to get a shaker but 4 “margarita balls” arrived so I guess this item is being used as a substitute. The packaging wasn’t very protective because 3 of the 4 balls are dented on the side. A few weeks ago, a rather cool 3-tiered salt/sugar/lime juice rimmer arrived.

Never mind. . .I checked the site at 1am (est) exactly and was able to sign up for glasses. As soon I as i was done, I went back to sign my grandparents up for them (they don’t use the internet so I usually send them freebies) and the glasses were gone by 1:05, the pitcher was gone by 1:10 by 1:15 all that was left was the ball (coupons and music were there too). .. no wonder why I never saw the other items!
Still haven’t got mine, but I did get the Brown Ale glass! It’s nice enough for regifting!LOL
