Free Money from Dosh app

Earn Money with Dosh App & Get $1-$5 Just by Joining!

Free Money from Dosh app

The Dosh app (or Do$h, based on their logo, but I refuse to call them that) is one of the new cash back apps that automatically gives cash back based 100% on your everyday purchases. It's like an automatic, mini-Ebates for your everyday food, gas, and clothing purchases.

After creating a free account and linking your credit card, Dosh monitors your purchases and automatically gives you cash back if you buy anything at a participating retailer. You don't have to remember to apply for the credit or click a link before you make a purchase. It's completely automated by robots waiting to replace us and designed to run in the background of your hectic, daily life.

I've been using it and a few other similar apps this year and they're great. While you won't make a killing, it's nice logging into my accounts every month and seeing I earned a few bucks simply for buying gas at Exxon or dinner at the local Chinese restaurant.

Since their founding in 2016, Dosh has already paid back $25 million to their users. Like I said earlier, you won't make a killing, but 2% here and 3% there start to add up over time.

Here's how to get your free money!

  • Join Dosh and download their app.
  • If asked, enter code RYANE2.
  • Link a credit card (you won't be charged a penny!) and Dosh will put $1, $5, or possibly $10 into your account – for free!

Pretty easy, huh? πŸ˜€

So, if earning a little free money on the side sounds up your alley, signup and start earning free cash!

Free $5 off at Subway Sandwich

Free $5 Off $10 at Subway!

Free $5 off at Subway Sandwich

This offer from November & January has returned – I've also added some clarifying info!

PayPal is offering $5 off a $10 purchase at Subway to the first 50,000 customers using this promo before May 30, 2019.

All you have to do is click on “Use Offer” to save the deal to your PayPal Wallet. Then shop through the Subway app and pay for your order with PayPal at checkout. Your $5 discount will then be automatically applied to your purchase. Please note, your discount will not be displayed when checking out in app, but will be applied automatically to your qualifying purchase as long as you have successfully loaded the offer to your PayPal account. You can verify this by checking your PayPal “Wallet” section after you've clicked “Save Offer.”

The promo didn't start until today, so I'd imagine this will be available for at least another few days. I don't see it lasting until May 30 though.

Free ibotta Cashback Offers

Current Ibotta Any Brand Offers (Literally FREE Money!)

Free ibotta Cashback Offers

Ibotta is one of the leading mobile coupon apps that pays you to shop for everyday grocery items. Think of it like reverse coupons. You get the discount after you purchase the items instead of during checkout, but it's the same ultimate effect.

While most of Ibotta's cashback coupon rebates are for specific items or brands, they also give free cash-back on generic “Any Brand” offers with no brand requirements whatsoever.

If you purchase any of the items listed below at a participating grocery, online, or drug store, then simply take a picture of your receipt and upload it into the app. Your account will then be credited for the cash back – all for free!

If some of the links below don't work for you, don't worry! Ibotta is a location-specific app. To find ALL the FREE no-brand coupons available to you just login, enter your zip, and search “any brand” on either their app of desktop site!

Ibotta Any Brand Offers

Unfortunately, as of 2019, Ibotta no longer uploads these deals to their website. You can see find them all in the app though!

Ibotta gives regional generic offers too, so make sure to search for “any brand” on your Ibotta app to get the most up-to-date freebie offers!

I'll keep this post updated and running with every active generic Ibotta cashback offer I can find.

Checkout 51 Free Bonus

$5 Signup Bonus for Checkout 51

Checkout 51 Free Bonus

Checkout 51 is currently offering a limited time bonus offer to new members! They have a special signup $5 bonus offer for new users. Here's how to get it.

  1. Signup with Checkout 51
  2. Redeem your first cash-back offer and earn a $2 bonus instantly!
  3. Receive an additional $1 bonus for each of your next 3 offers redeemed!

All in all, you get $5 for free just for requesting cash-back on items you already buy at the store.

New to Checkout 51?

I post Ibotta's any brand offers, which are awesome, but one thing that Ibotta doesn't have is any grocery store chains in New York City. It's kinda crazy.

However, Checkout 51 has all of my local, regional grocery stores as well as all the big, national grocers, drugstores, and retailers.

I also find they have more high-value coupons than other digital rebate apps. It's not uncommon to find $1.50/1 coupons that you can use twice, making for great deals on top of your normal local deals and coupons.

I literally went to the grocery store with a shopping list on a Post-It note and used Checkout 51. Despite the small list, I was able to find 3 coupons to use and redeem. The money is already in my account!

Cheaper Hearthstone Packs via Amazon

Cheaper Hearthstone Packs

Hearthstone is one of Blizzards best video games and I don't say that because it's free. 😀 What starts out as a simple card game quickly evolves into so much more. It's part strategy, part planning, and a big part luck.

At the heart of Hearthstone is collecting cards and purchasing packs is the quickest way to do so. Each pack comes with 5 random cards for you to keep forever as you battle and build your decks.

Currently, Blizzard charges the following prices in-game.

  • 2 packs / $2.99 ($1.495 per pack)
  • 7 packs / $9.99 ($1.427 per pack)
  • 15 packs / $19.99 ($1.332 per pack)
  • 40 packs / $49.99 ($1.249 per pack)
  • 60 packs / $69.99 ($1.166 per pack)

Better Hearthstone Pack Prices

Meanwhile, Amazon sells Amazon Coins at a $1 to 100 ratio. These coins can ultimately be used to purchase Hearthstone packs in place of your credit card.

In fact, if you make your purchases through Amazon, you only pay the following.

  • 2 packs / $2.97 ($1.48 per pack)
  • 7 packs / $9.70 ($1.385 per pack)
  • 15 packs / $19.40 ($1.293 per pack)
  • 40 packs / $46.50 ($1.162 per pack)
  • 82 packs / $87 ($1.06 per pack) Best Deal!
The prices above only reflect the current 25% discount Amazon is offering on their coins. During many occasions (like when new expansions are released), Amazon increases the discount to 30%-40%!

As you can see, purchasing in bulk via Amazon Coin has significant advantages. In almost every case, you can get the same amount of packs for less money. Meanwhile, if you opt for the biggest stash, you not only get a much better rate but 22 additional packs!

How to Get Cheaper Hearthstone Packs

After purchasing your Amazon Coins, you have to install Hearthstone from the Amazon Appstore onto an Android device. If you don't have access to an Android device, you can use a free Android emulator on your PC. After downloading, install and launch the emulator, then proceed.

Whether on your Android or emulator, your next step is to launch Hearthstone and login to your Blizzard account. Now purchase the packs and you'll pay with your Amazon Coins.

Unfortunately, as of 2018, there isn't a way to pull this deal off on iOs or Macs.

I've been a Hearthstone addict for years and this was new to me, so I wanted to share!

Check Out Checkout 51

See what I did there?

Free Checkout 51 App

Seriously though, Checkout51 is a new couponing app similar to Ibotta. You signup, go shopping, then get the coupon amount refunded to your account. Once you hit $20, you cash out and treat yo self! Or I guess save it or pay off bills or whatever else it is responsible people do.

Free Checkout 51 App

So how does it work? Simply download either the iPhone or Android app to your smartphone (or use the website if you don't have one!) and check out the new offers every week. They're posted at midnight on Thursdays and you have until the next Thursday to purchase any of the particular items and submit your receipt. Also it's worth noting that you can shop at any store and still use Checkout51.

Free Checkout51 Money

Finally, as a bonus offer to celebrate launching in the US, Checkout51 is giving us $2 for free once we hit the $20 payout. You can find a list of their offers on their site to get a sense of how much you can save, like $0.50 off any dozen eggs.

So check it out and let me know what you think!

Free Generic Ibotta Money Rebates

Ibotta: Free Money Saving App

Free Generic Ibotta Money Rebates

Let's talk about Ibotta for a minute, shall we? To me it sounds like one of those pills you'd see a commercial for with people sitting in outdoor bathtubs. “Don't take Ibotta if you're pregnant, have an upset stomach, or handled rabbit fur within the past 5 days. Common side effects include drowsiness, diarrhea, and an unpleasant conversation with your roommate one day.”

But in reality it's a pretty cool app for your Android, iPhone, or other iOS supported device that pays you to shop for groceries. You can think of it as a new form of coupons. After downloading it and registering, you can see a list of products that, if you purchase, will earn you money on the same scale of a coupon.

So take the image below for example. If I purchase Capri Sun, I can earn $1.00. If I purchase Kool-Aid Singles, I can earn another dollar.

Free Ibotta Money

As you can see, it's honestly free money if you're already buying these items. And it's not just food. I have $0.50 for Chap Stick, $1.50 for Tresemme shampoo, $1.25 for Colgate toothpaste, and a bunch more.

So, any Hiffers out there already using Ibotta? What do ya think?!

Free Text and SMS Messages Online

Free SMS & Text Messages

Ok, I'll admit, I don't really get the whole text messaging phenomenon. If I want to talk to somebody or ask them a question, I'll just call them! Over 90% of my phone calls consist of 30 second conversations that go like this:

Friend: Hey Goob, what's up?
Goob: Hey mate, got a quick question. You know what time we need to show up at Bob's tomorrow night?
Friend: Yeah, be there around 6.
Goob: Great, thanks, take it easy.
Friend: Peace.

I don't care how fast you type on a phone, you can't beat that in terms of time spent! But whatever, I digress. πŸ™‚ I've got friends all over the country and world at this point. And while I might want to call them from time to time, the nitty gritty is that I end up texting them thanks to the prices of phone calls. But seeing as how text messages cost money too, I figured there had to be a way around paying. I mean, if e-mail is free, why shouldn't 150 character messages be?! And thankfully, many other websites out there agree with me!

Below I've put together some of the best sites on the net that allow you to sent 100% free text messages. I tried most of them out by texting my own phone to see if they worked, how fast it went, etc. Many of these offer world-wide messaging, or at least texts to certain countries abroad. So chances are though that no matter where your friends or families are in the world, you'll be able to text them using one of the sites below. Many times you'll need to know the country code of the number you're trying to message, but for some reason most of these sites don't provide a list of the freaking codes! Luckily, this is when Wikipedia really comes in handy. Even more annoyingly, sometimes you'll need to know the cell phone service provider of your friend. If you have no idea what it is, then have a look at Fone Finder and thank me later!

And as always, if you know of a good site I missed, please leave a comment and let us know about it!

Google Voice – One of the longest running free texting via websites still up and running! They let you send text messages for free to US and Canadian numbers (excluding U.S. territories American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands). It couldn't be easier to send text messages straight from your browser or phone, all for free.

They update their locations here.

TextFree – This is a mobile app for both iPhone and Android or personal computers that lets you send free text messages worldwide.

Text Port – Yet another fantastic site that lets you send free sms to US and Canadian numbers via their set numbers. What makes this site even better, IMHO, is the clean and nice layout. No flashing ads or annoying messages all over the place. Just a box for you to send your free text message from and that's it.

Previous Best Free Text Options

How many people remember some of these original free texting sites? While they're sadly no longer with us, they were the pioneers of free global texting online back in the day, circa 2006-2014.

  • AIM
  • Anon Txt
  • Call Wave
  • Cardboard Fish SMS
  • Chikka
  • Free Text Send
  • Gizmo
  • Group 2 Call
  • Joopz
  • Send SMS Now
  • SMS Everywhere
  • Text 4 Free
  • The Txt
  • Txt Drop
  • Yahoo Messenger India

Yeah, you read that last one right! I still have my YM India login info from 2005 πŸ˜€

So there you have it! Those are some of the best free text messaging websites I found that let you send free text messages around the globe. No matter where you or your friends are in the world, hopefully you'll be able to stay in touch with nothing more than a couple of cell phones and a few of the websites from this list.
