When I'm not reading freebee websites and searching the internet for freebees, I'm usually staring at my computer screen drooling. Don't believe me? You should see the stack of dishes that's on my counter. Sink and counter, actually. Clean dishes still in my dishwasher and need to be unloaded. I swear I'd do them already, but to do so would require biking to the store to get more dishwasher detergent, biking home, mopping up the sweat from my face, unloading the clean dishes, rinsing the piles all over the kitchen, and then loading and unloading it. Seeing it's my wife's and my four year dating anniversary this weekend, we'll be eating dinner out and we won't really need clean dishes.
That's all beside the point. The main point is that I read a lot of freebee websites.
And with that, I see a lot of “free gift” offers. Sort of like this. And each and every time, I look at the offers, and I shake my head and move on.
But this time. I was compelled by something more. Maybe it was the fact that it was a jewelry website. Maybe because it actually was a nicely done website. Maybe because I liked the alliteration of Judith Jack–because it just rolls right off of the tongue. Whatever it was, I knew that I had to sign up for the free gift.
Maybe it's a pony?
Or better yet… Dishwasher detergent.
