Free KFC Grilled Chicken on 10/26
The Associated Press is reporting that on Monday, October 26, anybody can stop in and get a free piece of grilled chicken at KFC. If you’ve been a fan of freebies for a while, you might remember they had a similar offer back in May. They were so overwhelmed with requests that they had to issue rainchecks. I guess that’s what happens when Oprah talks about it. They promise to be ready this time around, so here’s to a free lunch this coming Monday!
Also, if you’re a regular of KFC, they have a dozen or so printable coupons on their site.
I was one of the “lucky” ones who got the chicken in May. Good thing I took it home because there were “big problems” right after I finished it. My intestines still cramp up every time I drive by the store. I think I’ll sit this one out.
is there a coupon we need to print and bring w/us? or do we just walk in and receive a free piece of chicken…i don’t think so…

Goob I’m kinda wary about this one, not only was the whole process handled wrong last time, but the management at the only KFC in my area (I live in a very rural area and their only competition is a Mc D’s) were downright rude about the coupons! Not only have I not darkened their door since (or any other KFC for that matter) I know a lot of other people who haven’t been there since too! Sorry, fool me once shame on you…
No coupon needed, just walk in. It’s a company wide-promotion, so each store will know about it ahead of time. You could print out the press release I linked to last time for some peace of mind, I guess.
Julie, understandable, but last time they were caught off guard because it was their first large-scale freebie promotion. Plus the whole Oprah thing was 100% unexpected. I’m willing to give them a second chance, because otherwise I’d be sending the message that if you screw up a freebie once, you should never try again. And being that I’m in the business of posting freebie offers, I want as many freebies as possible
But like I said, your view is understandable! I’d be a bit upset if I had a similar experience and nobody would fault you for not showing up this time.

Awww Goob, you’re a sweetie, maybe I will give them a second chance, maybe this time they’ll be kinder about the whole thing, and after all what can it hurt, it’s not like I’ll be out any $$.
