Free Backpack Filled with School Supplies via Verizon

Free Backpack Filled with School Supplies on July 31

This great annual freebie is back for Hiffers in 26 states! Participating Verizon Wireless locations are giving away free backpacks filled with essential school supplies on Sunday, July 31, from 1-4pm! A full list of 1,244 locations and addresses are available on their Wireless Zone Locations page.

Each backpack comes with pencils, a pencil box, folders, paper, a ruler, and glue. Your child must be present and hopefully they're not dressed like the dapper young man in all of their ads, because that means they're 100% better dressed than me. You do not have to be a Verizon custom either.

These freebies are given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, so I'd show up early if you really want this freebie. They're giving away 130,000 free backpacks this year, which averages out to about 100 freebies per location, so these will go fast!!

Last year there were only 13 states with participating locations. It's nice to see that number double this year!

Free PETA Teach Kind Stickers

Free PETA Teach Kind Stickers

Here's another signup form still active for some free PETA Teach Kind stickers. This offer looks like a whole sheet of stickers and they don't seem to have any PETA brand markings on them whatsoever.

I think this offer is meant for teacher's only since it asks where you teach at. I said I taught at Goob School, given that I'm only as smart as a 2nd grader.

Free National Parks Admission

Free National Park Pass for 4th Graders worth $80!

In addition to the free National Park Admission Days scattered throughout the year, did you know that 4th graders can get a free entrance pass worth $80 as well? Even better, these freebie passes work for the entire family!

Simply sign up here and then use your pass at any national park this summer. This pass will grant free entrance to 3 adults and all children under 16, as long as you're all traveling in the same car with your 4th grader.

You'll need to print your pass and bring it in the car when you visit a park. Electronic copies aren't accepted and each pass has a unique code, which means you can't share it.

Don't forget you can also request free national park trip planning kits for select parks around the country.

Free Kids Youth Hockey

Free Kids Youth Hockey on March 5

On Saturday, March 5, kids ages 4 to 9 get to try hockey for free at over 450 USA Hockey locations in celebration of National Hockey Week! Participating locations will have limited equipment available to use, so you won't stress over building a homemade pair of ice skates using butcher knives and duct tape.

As a kid, I swore I hated sports and would never play them. My parents nevertheless signed me up for baseball against my extremely vocal protests. 30 years later, I'm a massive baseball fan and couldn't be more thankful they ignored me! Who knows, maybe your kid is the next Wayne Gretzky and will only discover their love for the game thanks to this freebie.

Free Ways to Track Santa

Free Ways to Track Santa on Christmas Eve

As Christmas Eve fast approaches, it's time for some to consider how they'll track Santa on December 24th. Luckily, modern technology and the military industrial complex has us covered!

The folks over at NORAD are the classic Santa trackers and they're back at it again this year. They started tracking Santa back in 1955 after a department store ad accidentally misprinted a phone number. Instead of calling Santa, children unexpectedly began calling the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Operations Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. 🤣

Their current Santa tracking site has a countdown, radar, and some holiday music and games. Visitors can see updates on Santa's preparations beginning at 4 am Christmas Eve. Children and parents can also call 1-877-446-6723 to inquire about Santa beginning at 6 am Christmas Eve.

Google also has a Santa tracker website. You get the same Santa tracking experience as NORAD without any of the worries of an errant hellfire missile strike bringing the big man down. They've got games, videos, an online yule log, and a “design your own elf” section.

Free Phone Call from Santa

Free Personalized Call From Santa

Your child can get a free personalized phone call from Santa right here via Package From Santa. You'll need to download their free app for iPhone / iPad or Android and then configure your one free call. You have to pay for any additional calls, so make sure you're ready for the initial freebie call!

You can choose the date & time of the call as well as select from over 30 unique messages from Santa. You also get to set the incoming call screen. Optionally, you can upload a photo of your child to appear in the call and you can have their age, state, country, and more mentioned! Here's an example of a type of free call from Santa you can build.

I have a strong feeling they'll try to upsell you on other items, but that shouldn't stop you from redeeming this great freebie for the kiddos! Just remember to use your freebie email and if they ever ask for a credit card, give them a free Privacy.com generated card with a $0 charge limit! 😉

Still on the fence? Previous reader reported their children loved their free Santa call!
I did this for my nephew yesterday and he is still talking about it with excitement. – Megan

Did this for my niece tonight and I’m told she just stood there in shock, and then proceeded to have a conversation with the recording. – Nick

Sent this to a crush & he got a kick out of it! It was fun personalizing it. – Katie

I made one for my parents and they LOVED it! My dad said it made his night. – Lianne

If you redeem this freebie, please let us know how your child enjoyed it in the comments!

Free Call from Santa

Free Personalized Video from Santa

This classic, annual children's freebie of a free personalized video from Santa isn't a typical offer that arrives in your mailbox. Instead, you get a unique, personalized video sent straight to your computer, phone, or tablet from the big man up North himself!

I also found this second free custom Santa video site from Synthesia!

These Santa freebies are always a favorite of Hiffers. Well, I'm assuming their children love it more than they do. It's fairly straightforward to set up and you're even given the option to pay for an upgraded video with more bells and whistles, but the free one gets the job done just fine.

Seriously though, a boatload of Hiffers always email me about this every year. And I don't mean some piddly canoe. We're talking gigantic, covid-filled cruise ships here. Every third email this time of year seems to be asking for me to post this. It's actually a nice break from the letters I typically receive. You'd think being told how handsome I am every day would be nice, but it sure can get tiring.

Free Baby Belly Badges

Free Enfamil Belly Badges

Once you join the free Enfamil Family Beginnings program, they'll send out freebies like these free baby belly badges. Ohhhh, strong alliteration, they've already won me over. I'm an easy date.

In addition to these freebies, you'll get free formula and coupons sent to you. You'll also be entered for a chance to win free formula for a year!
