The first 50 guests to arrive at their local Menchie's on Friday, Aug 13 will get 5 free ounces of frozen yogurt. This deal is mentioned on their site as part of a new Disney Channel movie.

Tuesday, July 13 is National Fries Day. In celebration, McDonald's is stealing their thunder and launching a “World Famous Fan Day” where they'll be giving away free medium fries. These freebies will be available all day July 13th with no purchase necessary.
That's where most freebie announcements stop. But McDonald's is upping the ante by holding a contest where one MyMcDonald's Rewards member will win free fries for life, a prize valued at $19,685. 👀
Oh… oh please…whoever wins this, do not eat twenty grand worth of fries. Your arteries are begging you.
Where was I? Oh, right, the free heart attack lifetime fries. Finally, McDonald's says 66 customers will be rewarded with 1 million McDonald's rewards points, which can soon be redeemed for free food.

If you're scrambling for ideas and events to occupy the munchkins this summer, you should check out the annual free Apple Camp returning for 2024! These free events run each summer for kids 8-12. This year they are doing one day sessions that last for two hours. Kids will explore their creativity through fun, hands-on projects by making movie magic with short videos using the Clips app on iPad.
Apple Stores across the country are accepting reservations for limited slots. In past years, these slots filled up fast, so I'd sign up today if I were interested.
I first wrote about this freebie back in 2009, so Apple's been doing it a while! It always sounded like a pretty cool activity to me. Then again, I'm 40 years old, so I may not be on the cutting edge of what's cool these days.

In addition to their free monthly kid's DIY kit, Lowe's is also offering free Garden-to-Go kits during the month of April. Each week at midnight ET Thursday, you can reserve a kit. Then you'll pick it up curbside at your local store.
Beginning April 1, customers can register on Lowes.com for free Garden-to-Go kits. The first curbside event will be held on April 8 and then occur each Thursday through the rest of the month. These family-friendly activity kits can be reserved on Lowes.com starting one week before each event and kits include:
