Is it safe to assume if I get a free Einstein Bros bagel and shmear with any purchase, I'll become as smart as the titular reference? I could use the extra brainpower to figure out how in the world to fix my dishwasher. I first noticed a problem when I couldn't locate my refrigerator through the sea of bubbles.
If not, I'll settle for his crazy awesome hair.
This freebie is available Wednesday, August 15 only and should be redeemable via your phone. I'd personally download their free mobile app ahead of time since the press release says you have to “show a restaurant app” on your phone.
Wednesday, August 8, is International Cat Day and Halo is celebrating with a free can of Halo cat foodinstore tomorrow only. They'll email the coupon to you within minutes, so make sure to have access to the freebie email you sign up with.
I've actually purchased this brand a few times before. Based on their name, I assumed their food would turn my pets into sweet, little angels. Not the case. I'm still finding empty beer cans hidden in the closets and underneath furniture. I'm pretty sure they threw a raging kegger while I was gone last weekend! If this is what having kids is like, I think I'll take a hard pass.
The 2022 Tax Day freebies post should start coming together in mid-March 2022! Check back then to find all the deals and freebies.
Ahh, glorious Income Tax Day is upon us with but a single day to spare. I've still yet to finish mine. I've only entered in my name and address on my Turbo Tax account, but the status bar still reads as 0% complete. That's not too encouraging if you ask me. I might just end up filing for an extension this morning. Hooray Democracy! At least I'm a few steps ahead of Homer Simpson.
While I toil away at figuring out which of my plants count as dependents (hey, they couldn't live without me!), enjoy this list of 2021 Tax Day freebies and deals! I should note, you may see other frugal sites reporting additional freebies, but I didn't include those. Everything below are offers with hard evidence for them online.
Unless otherwise noted, these freebies are available on Thursday, April 15, 2021 only.
2021 Tax Day Freebies
File Your Taxes – Before we get to the fun stuff, you've filed your taxes, right?! If you haven't, you can file your free federal tax return in minutes with Turbo Tax or H&R Block. I'd start with getting that done before scoring any freebies from below 😀
Great American Cookies – One of the longest running Tax Day freebies, for it's sixth year in a row, is my favorite! Snag a free Cookies & Cream cookie for a jolt of sugar down the homestretch! (locations)
Kona Ice – They'll be giving away free shaved ice again. Last year, in order to find a participating location, you had to tweet your zip code @konaice and they'd let you know the closest truck. You can still do that, or you can use their new Find A Kona.
Planet Fitness – This 10th annual free HydroMassage might actually be the longest running Tax Day Freebies on this list! Offer is valid April 17 – 22.
Tony Roma's – Your Tax Relief is free kickin' shrimp. Your Next Day Relief is not getting food poisoning! (locations)
Previous Tax Day Deals

Captain D's – Taxes never tasted this good! Get 6 pieces of Batter Dipped Fish, 1 family side, and 6 Hush Puppies for $10.40. (locations)
Chuck E. Cheese's – For every large pizza purchased, guests will get one large cheese pizza free. Offer valid from April 17 – 19, 2018. (locations)
Cici's – $4.17 Adult Buffet with the coupon from their Facebook page. (locations)

Firehouse Subs – Free medium sub when you buy a full-priced medium or large sub, chips and drink. Offer valid April 17-19, 2018. (locations)
Grimaldi's Pizzeria – Their Tax Day Promo (what an original name!) is back. Guests can enjoy a 16″ traditional cheese pizza for only $10.40. (locations)
Hungry Howie's – Use promo TAXDAY18 to score a medium 1-topping pizza for $0.15 when you buy a large 1-topping pizza at regular menu price. You must order online and is for carry-out only. (locations)
P.F. Chang's – They're not only giving 15% off takeout via code TAXDAY, but it also has the following opening: “You win some, you lose some, but you can always get dim sum.”
This promo code can be used online or referenced when ordering by phone!
Schlotzsky's – Score a free small Original sandwich with the purchase of chips and a medium drink. (locations)
Sonic – Half price cheeseburgers all day long. This is advertising as a cheeseburger offer, but the fine print makes it sound even better. And I quote, “Offer Includes Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger + Medium Tots or Classic SONIC Signature Slinger + Medium Tots.”
It's not the most fantastic of deals, but if you're in the market for a cheap lunch, then why not get a free small fries and drink with the purchase of an Arby's Loaded Italian sandwich? This freebie is valid through 3/28/18.
Free Pretzel Day Monday, April 26, 2021 which means you can get a free Auntie Anne's original or cinnamon sugar pretzel. However, this year we only get freebies if one million people RSVP ahead of time. So far, they're a sliver over 200k, so we've got a ways to go.
Assuming we hit our milestone, head to your local spot from 10am to 2pm and pick up your free Auntie Anne's pretzel.
The only downside is you have to leave your house in order to get the freebie and that means you have to put on pants. And who willingly wears pants during the weekend?
My East coast Hiffers might be interested in a free 90-day BJ's Wholesale Club membership. You'll need to scroll down to the bottom right of their homepage, then click on the green box that says “get a free 3-month membership.” (Look for the image below) After filling out the form, you'll receive a confirmation email and can pick up your membership card at your local BJ's Member Service Desk.
I know I've got one of these fairly close to me, so I might stop in and check it out. At the very least, I could buy a 20-gallon jar of honey mustard that should last me until July. Oh, who am I kidding, June at the latest.
They only have stores in 15 states, so I wouldn't be surprised if some Hiffers don't find this useful. You know, when I open my own brick-and-mortar company one day, I'll build a store in every town in America! That way, anybody anywhere can visit one of my stores and participate in a freebie. I won't even bother with all of those nerdy things like “return on investments” or “profit margins.” Who cares about that stuff?!
*KAPERRRZ* A time machine suddenly appears, future Goob steps forth and punches current Goob in the face while muttering something about potential investors digging up this post in the future.
KID, RUUUUUUUUN! Whoever is holding those clippers is about to shave your head since there are free kids haircuts at JCPenney for the month of August. All you need to do is call 855-JCP-KIDS or your local JCP salon and set up an appointment for any kid in grades K-6. Well, try and make it for your own kid. Society tends to frown upon borrowing neighborhood children just to give them a free haircut.
The American Red Cross is waiving their usual $25 fee and offering free CPR classes on Saturday, March 19. There are over 100 participating locations, but be sure to check the map on their site because they're randomly scattered across the country. My nearby branch isn't participating, so looks like I'll have to teach myself via a YouTube video. Don't worry, I'm sure xAwesomeDude003x has valid credentials.
