Deal: $0.56 Hasbro Games at Toys R US

If you’re anything like me, most of your board games are missing a few dice or pieces thanks to a passionate family member who launched them across the room after losing a game of Candy Land. Luckily, Toys R Us has a great deal going on through 11/14 where you can get seven different Hasbro games for $0.56 each. To start, each of the following games are currently on sale for $3.99:

Ants in Pants
Candy Land
Chutes and Ladders
Cootie
Don’t Break The Ice
Hi-Ho Cherry-O
Memory

There is a free Toys R Us $10 gift card available when you purchase $25 in Hasbro games, plus there is a $2 Hasbro rebate offer available for all of the games above. So in order to get the cheapest price possible, you could:

Buy all seven $3.99 Hasbro games for $27.93
Receive $10 TRU gift card
Receive $14 Hasbro mail-in rebate
Final price for all seven games is $3.93 or $0.56 per game!

Make sure you only buy the standard version of the games – specialty versions, like Dora the Explorer and Winnie the Pooh, cost more. There are also some Hasbro games on sale for $7.99 and $9.99, but they’ll obviously end up costing a little more than $0.56 each.

By the time I got there, the main games shelves were bare in the places with the $3.99 sale signs, but they had the games in other areas of the store so I was able to locate 5 of 'em, then another that was on the rebate list for $9.99 to get me to $25... so I didn't get 'em for 56cents a piece, but still got a great deal on a bunch games. My son is gonna be so excited for his 4th birthday (coming up Dec 4th!) to open up a giant box 'o' board games! Just hope I can keep 'em hidden that long.

Jess, the gift card isn't active until 6 hours after you buy the games. It's good until 12/31/09.

Can you use the $10 gift card toward the games you purchase? Like in the same transaction

I went to toys r us today and used my 5 off of $25. some of the games I purchsed where on sale when i got to the register-i bought 4 games for a total of $21 I got a $10 gift card and will be getting $9 in rebate money.

The games were flying off the shelves at the Toys R Us near me. Be sure to check prices with the scanner. Also look closely at the rebate form (they have them at the store in the game area), before buying to make sure your games are listed if you plan on getting the rebates. Note that you can only get one rebate for each game, meaning you can't get a rebate on both the traditional Memory game and the Disney princess Memory game. This might be an issue if your store is out of several games and you need duplicates to get up to $25. Most of my games will go to Toys for Tots, but I might keep the Hi Ho Cherry-O game, since I have never gotten over not getting one when I was a kid. I bought these over the weekend. I got the $10 g.c. and a bunch of games. Mailing my rebate today. GREAT DEAL! They also had Call of duty Modern Warfar 2 today between 10 & 2 and if you bought it you got a $20 g.c. Got that one too since we were buying the game anyway! WOOHOO!

I just wanted to agree with Carrie- I was going to mention that even if you already have some of the games- get them again anyway and donate them. There are a lot of families in need this time of year, and it simply makes you feel good to help out someone in need. Happy Holidays everyone!

My husband is there now and some of the games are not advertised as $3.99, but still the regular price. Use the price scanner at the end of the aisle and double check, he did this and the reg. price all came up $3.99

i wrote up a post and linked back here. I believe the gift card works 6 hours after activation, or so the website says. Still can save it for more shopping, i'm sure there will be more offers like this as we get closer to Xmas

This is a really good deal. I just wish I could get it online too. The closest store to me is an hour away. =(

It's not really less because they are deducting the gift card from your total price paid. It really is $13.93 after the rebate and you get the $10 gift card.

Technically it would be even less considering you're then going to use the $10 gift card to buy more toys. Once you divide it out among the toys you purchased for free with the card it's even less! Awesome!
