December 2009 HIF Contest #1
I don’t know about you, but I hate cold weather. It’s too … cold! So, since we’re in the middle of a freebie drought, I thought I’d start a contest and give away four free $25 Starbucks giftcards to warm us up!
You can have up to five different entries into the contest. They are:

- Subscribe to our daily newsletter.
- Follow HIF and/or Goob on Twitter. You’ll get one submission for each follow!

Lisa, once your on somebody’s Twitter page that you want to followed, there is a button underneath their picture that says “Follow” and it has an image of a person with a plus sign next to him. Simply click that and you’re now following them!

Hi Goob. Just want to say thanks. You got a good deal (for us users anyway) going here and I enjoy reading your comments. I do have a suggestion though.
I go through my email at about the speed of sound, sometimes faster.
If I have time to leisurely look at my email then I have time to do something else that needs to be done so I just go back to my email later when it is imperative that I go though it at the speed of sound (or faster) so that I won’t have a tonne of email later that will just clog up my email inbox and I won’t lose track of what I have and what day I got it on and if I missed something so I won’t try to do something today that was supposed to be done last week.
Know what I mean?
Anyhow, do you suppose, that in the main title (hype link) of the freebie that I get in my email, you could possibly put the date that the offer is good for. I’m not talking about all of them, just the ones that are good for one day only.
For example, the free code for Redbox that comes out once in awhile. I tried using it today and it was only good for yesterday and it’s really not for me because I don’t have much time to watch movies but my dogs like to watch them when I’m not home and that is usually most of the time and I realy gotta go and just wanted to say thanks for putting this stuff out there and pleae keep it coming cause I use the freebies for birthday, wedding, aniversary, Christmas presents (ya, I know, cheap right) and I always get a chuckle from your comments and did I already say I gotta go…………
Omg im in love with this site, I feel like a total lozer cause the first thing I do when I wake up is check this site! Then I spend the next couple of hours continuously checking if the mail came (to see if I got any freebies! lol)! Anyways my point is I LOVE this site. I am such a FREEBIE FOOL that I order FREE condoms – I am a NUN! – I mean I have non.
I order FREE depends – and the last time I checked I didn’t have any wetness problems I could remember OR think of anyway, well besides that one time – I CAN use them for Mardi Gras though, because EVERYBODY KNOWS, THERE AIN’T NO WHERE TO PEE ON MARDI GRAS DAY!
My FREEBIE HABIT is so bad that I almost died due to it.
This just happened last week- I went on vacation for the Thanksgiving week and when we got home to my SURPRISE, our MAILBOX was EMPTY when we got home??? I knew something had to be wrong for sure. Well when Monday rolled around I woke up to BEEP- BEEP- BEEP at first I was like who the Hell is making all that dang noise this early I mean it’s 12pm dang it people are trying to sleep around here! I put my pillow over my head and yelled for the dog to SHUT UP! Next thing I jump out my skin to cop sounding banging come from my door, Holly CRAP! Wait a minute, will ya… I jumped up wrapped the blanket around me, tried to start running as I trip on the end of the blanket and my 75lb Pit Bull Puppy who was jumping up snapping at my feet like it was a game we always play. In the mean time I am thinking the cops are going to ram the door down any minute since I am taking so dang long. Hey I see it on Cops all the time!
Anyway I finally get to the door, hold the dog back with one hand and yank the door open with the other. Just as I open the door the Cops bust in and WHAM! I am out flat on the floor, blanket to my knees, my left hand over my head still holding the dog back who is now laid out flat too from getting ran over. I can’t breath there’s CRAP laying all over me, what the hell? With the help of my dog, thank God she was there I think she saved my life! We tunneled our way out with a confused thought and puzzled look.
To my embarrassment it was the mail that our post office had held for the week we were gone, because our mailbox was over flowed by, FREEBIES!
So, you see even though I don’t drink coffee myself, I DESPERATELY need to win where I can give my postman a peace offering.
