Tons of Free Magazine Subscriptions

If you sign up with Recycle Bank, your account will be credited with 100 points. Luckily, that’s enough to immediately cash out for a prize! Listed below are some of the freebies I could find that were 100 or fewer points, but note that they have a ton. This isn’t the be all, end all of freebies available through them.

I just wish they had their recycling program in my area. I’d be like the time I discovered eBay and got so addicted, that I ended up selling just about everything I owned. It sure made moving easier!

    GREAT freebie!!!

  2. #2 rachel |

Hey, Goob! Don’t forget to warn the friendlies about the scam attached with this awesome freebie; call and cancel the “convient” on-going subscription that the magazine will cont. to bill you for after your free subscription has expired.

  3. #3 VEEVAH |

hey goob, how come we cant browse the different types of magazines being offered? Im able to see the list, but theres no way of viewing or selecting which one you want.

  4. #4 ct |

I couldn’t figure out how to look at the magazines either (the free/100pt ones at least), but once I registered and logged into the site, I clicked on the link on the HIF post to the magazine that I wanted. The link then took me to the page to get that particular magazine.

  5. #5 Loren |

I was hoping they would list all the items by points, least to most, or have a magazine selection on the left side. I had to click on Goobs link as well.

Its not free, according to what I see. Its discounted. I went to redeem and it’s saying its $5.97 for 6 mos and I have to provide a credit card no for auto renewals.

SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I used to do telephone sales/infomercials and we’d get people to sign up. then they would either be charged or try and cancel over and over. Not worth the effort.

    Love your site otherwise.

After registering, I clicked on the HIF link for the magazine I was interested in and went straight to that page. I used my 100 free points and ordered a magazine – didn’t have to give ANY CC info.

    The best freebie !!!!!!

  9. #9 Stephanie Smith |

Won’t take my AIM mail address. Says it’s invalid :(

  10. #10 Gina |

SO excited!! Just got a year subscription to Seventeen for…FREE! :D Thanks, Goob!!!

  11. #11 Kurakitsune |

I was a bit worried hearing a few negative comments. Yes SOME of the magazine subscriptions do cost you money (They are only 75% off) But the ones that Goob linked to are free. I just ordered my Seventeen mag (one year subscription) and it never asked me for any credit card info.

  12. #12 Amber |

I didn’t see anything about how they will bill me for a 2nd year after this subscription runs out. I entered my info and they are sending me Better Homes & Gardens FREE! No credit card needed.

  13. #13 Mills |

I sent for Good Housekeeping and received a note in tiny print after submitting it that the subscription would continue until canceled and a bill would come, but this was underneath an offer for additional magazines at $5 each. It’s possible it doesn’t apply to the free one. Even if it does, you can send a note to cancel it before the subscription is up.

  14. #14 Cari |

It’s telling me I need to use an activation code to register, and the only way to get one is to be mailed one :(

  15. #15 Cari |

Ok…nvm. I figured it out…but can’t find any free subscriptions. It’s all good though, this site looks awesome! Thanks!

  16. #16 Jen |

with my 100 pts I got 2 coupons, each good for free eco-friendly cleaning products

  17. #17 Allison |

They have some grocery coupons for free 7th Generation cleaners or baby products, if you’re looking for other freebies.

  18. #18 kay |

It keeps saying my yahoo, hotmail, AND gmail emails are invalid =( Anyone know how to fix this?

  19. #19 Danae |

Kay, I have the same problem… I have tried to sign up with them before and it will never ever take my email. It’s frustrating…

  20. #20 kendra |

It worked for me with my yahoo email! Thanks Goob! I’m glad you posted this. I contacted them about recycling for my school. We could earn some serious points!

  21. #21 April |

I watched the video on the site for how to sign up. It asks for a special number that comes in the mail. I’m guessing one can sign up without that number? Is anyone here legitimately signed up for the service and plans to (or is) using it? It sounds interesting! :)

  22. #22 thresa |

I am going to try the electronics recyling, but they don’t offer curb side in our area. This is a neat program, I wish it was in more areas.

Lots of coupons: 30 days at curves free, free food, store discounts and more if you don’t need the magazines.

  23. #23 Denise |

It wouldn’t take my Verizon and AIM email addresses. I finally typed in an old yahoo address (with no caps) and it went through! So it may work if you keep all the letters in your email address lowercase.
I ordered Redbook, and there’s an activation code. So even though it says that the subscription went through, I had to click on something that took me to the Hearst website. I entered the activation code, and then got an email from Hearst saying that I’ll be getting 12 issues of Redbook.

  24. #24 Barb |

It wouldn’t take my email address either…if it’s THIS hard getting through, to hell with it!! And I really DO recycle a LOT!

  25. #25 Goob |

As mentioned above, the only free magazines are the ones I linked to directly. Use the links I provided and you should be able to get the magazines without any credit card needed.

April, I would love to use their service as well.

    Goob,
When I try to sign-up for this offer the captcha at the bottom of the sign-up page is not visible to me. Is it just me or is something wrong on their end? Did anyone else have this problem? What should I do now? Please help!!

  27. #27 mary |

    Amber and or Goob-
Can’t find the link for the Better Homes and Gardens mag freebie….

  28. #28 Virginia |

I wish to withdraw my membership with you. I just don’t have the time to go over and over things that I have given and you are not accepting. Please unscribe me. Thanks

  29. #29 eve |

I went to the site but… they won’t even accept my home address? i don’t understand… they say something about usps do not have a match for the address…

it’s a great offer… but wat do i do now?

  30. #30 Robin A Collins |

WTHell does comment #28 from above mean? Just being kneby!!!

  31. #31 Robin A Collins |

If you get a bill after getting a FREE MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION for ONE WHOLE year is it really such a nuisance to simply mark the bill “cancel” and drop in the nearest mailbox-postage paid??? ‘Cmon ppl you all sound like a bunch of winers, this freebie kicks a$$. I would’ve signed-up but, it’s not available in PA as of yet!

    Thanks Goob:)

  32. #32 Shirl |

    Sign up using lowercase email
There is free stuff you can get with points as well on website
    Really neat find
    Thanks Goob!

  33. #33 Danae |

lower case works. Thanks smart people.

  34. #34 aly |

when i try to sign up for seventeen magazine for my daughter, it says i need to be over 13 years old. it just keeps saying that. i am 38 years old.

  35. #35 natalie |

This is a great deal. I did not get the magazines but they offer different prizes and I got a few Seventh Generation cleaning products that are way too expensive in the store.
Thanks Goob. You run a great site and it is much appreciated by all of us.
    Natalie

  36. #36 linda |

How do I go about finding more FREE magazines for just points?

  37. #37 Carmen |

Thanks for the magazine freebie…I selected :Redbook:

    Gracias

  38. #38 debbie |

Why can’t Ifind the things for 100 poonts or less? How did you find them, Goob?

  39. #39 Sarah |

This worked for me! I’ve already gotten 2 free Marie Claires. However, I tried to sign a friend up and they no longer give you 100 points for signning up, they give you 40. And they took the magazine offers down, so this is no longer working :(

  40. #40 Roma |

Interesting – I signed up for Redbook for free with my points and didn’t have to put in any information. Got my first issue last week and today got…A bill for the magazine!

  41. #41 Nicki |

I did this awhile ago, but it only gave me 40 points for signing up. I signed up for the ebay green team, and still only have 90 points…
