More RecycleBank Freebies
Remember the RecycleBank magazine freebies I posted yesterday? Well, there’s a way you can actually get more than just one subscription! Head over to Kashless and create a free account. You’ll then want to link your RecycleBank account to it by clicking on the “Rewards” tab. Finally, click on “Saved Searches” and start, you guessed it, saving some searches. You’ll get 10 points for up to 30 searchs, so all told you can get 300 free points that will carry over to your RecylceBank account!
It takes while for the points to transfer (I’m still waiting) and linking the two accounts seems to work best if you use the same e-mail on both sites. I linked to all of the free magazines I could find yesterday, but they do have a boatload of coupons available for places you may regularly shop at. It might be worth it to look through the prizes section for a coupon you might enjoy.

Goob, what does it mean if the captcha at the bottom of the sign-up page is not visible to me? I can’t enter it if I can’t see it! Am I doing something wrong? Please help me!! I’m electronically challenged-as my kids say:)
Because of the first saved search bonus you actually get 310 points and then you can also get points via any of the things on the rewards page (click the learn how to earn points link.)
where is the “rewards” tab?

Hey Goob, so how do I link my both accounts? I did use the same e-mail address and from Kashless I’ve signed in into my RecycleBank account. Do I have to do something extra or do I just wait for my points to transfer? (i know you said it takes time). BTW, I absolutely LOVE this freebie! Its my favorite yet, and I’ve been visiting your site religiously for quite a while now
To link the accounts you must go to the rewards page, (without linking you get no points), the rewards page is accessed by clicking rewards in about the middle of the black bar at the top of the screen once you log in.
I did the Kashless thing yesterday afternoon (not available in my region, so I picked my brother’s region). I saved 29 searches for “blank” (the first one gives you 20 pts). Roughly 30 hours later I now have my 300 points in my RecycleBank account!
I just read through the Rewards FAQ, and I wanted to mention this;
On one page, it says that you will earn 10 points for every search you save (after the bonus). On another page, it says that there is a 300 point limit per week. It doesn’t say that you will only get points for your first 30 searches, it just says it limits you to 300 points per week.
I’m pretty sure that means that you can get 300 points every week for saving searches.
Has anyone tried this? I’ll be checking it out in a week.

Eden, thanks for pointing to our Kashless/RecycleBank reward program. We are very excited about providing it. We are clarifying some of our FAQs based on all the feedback. I can clarify the 300 point question. There is a 300 point per week limit for all activities. Remember we are giving these points to encourage people to re-use and recycle. If people start to abuse the system, we will need to put in some more restrictions.

I linked my accounts, but still haven’t gotten the points transfered. Oh well, here’s hoping.
Kashless is actually pretty cool. I have a lot of stuff I want to post on there. Better than throwing them out and I won’t feel guilty for getting points.
has anyone else had a problem with the 300 points not “rolling over” so you can accruemore? they did go to recyclebank, but still won’t let me get more and it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve sent lots of emails about it
Not true-I only got 25 “points” and the subscription “costs” 115!!!
