Free 9 Month WSJ Subscription

If the previous free 6 month subscription didn’t interest you, how does a free 9 month Wall Street Journal subscription sound? No? Come on, RewardsGold really wants you to start reading this. Though if it was up to me I’d get everyone a subscription to The Onion. You can’t beat articles like CIA Realizes It’s Been Using Black Highlighters All These Years or God Angrily Clarifies ‘Don’t Kill’ Rule.

Yes, I realize there’s a shorty survey on what type of business meetings you have at work. You have to admit it’s actually more relevant to the freebie than most of their crazy surveys though.

How many surveys do I have to complete to get the subscription?

  2. #2 Nicole |

I FINALLY got the subscription after a 4 page survey asking anything from what brand my wallet is to what I order when I’m at a company lunch

@ Mbruse: usually Rewards Gold has a one page survery and the second page is a confirmation of your mailing info and it;s where you select the prize.. there is always a secondary offer of an audio book but you have to provide credit card info to get that. I have been doing Rewards Gold for a couple of years and have gotten loads of free magazines/publications from them. Never have opted for the audio book.

I think I had to fill out three surveys — regarding a restaurant, a wallet, and a newspaper. It’s a pain, but will be worth it if I get the WSJ! Thanks for the link!!!

All it does is ask for more and more information, with survey after survey without ever letting you get the subscription, I expect better than this from you. This is a total scam and I bet I get spammed like mad from this crap.

Took a few more surveys than normal for RewardsGold, but I got there. I really wonder what they are going to do with the information that I like my wallet because it holds things and is easy to grab….

I stand corrected! This one did have multiple surveys. I think I did three. One about business lunches, the wallet one and one about what kind newspaper I read. still got them done very quickly. It seems the number of pages may be in relation to the value of the subscription because when I have gotten magazines from them it is like one page where i fill out my info, a survey page and then the verification/selection page. Not a bad trade off… a few minutes of my time for what is usually a year’s worth of magazines for free.

It offers you another subscription when you complete one… the next up was a year of Forbes magazine and it was a one page survey about what kind of watch you wear. The next one that came up after that was Bloomburg Business, but we already get that one so I didn’t continue. Something I used to do when I had more time.. If I was already getting a mag but knew someone else that would like it as well, i would use their name and mailing infor with my email addy, fill out the survey and have it sent to their house. As long as you don’t log in as an existing customer on that first page it treats you as a new customer…

Hcarr, Not a scam. just BS your way through the questions and you’ll get the reward.
daisy, you will get it.. I did this one when goob posted it last month or so when it was offered as a 6 month subsciption… did it again today so we’ll get it longer. I am currently getting Bloomburg Business, Garden and Gun, Working Mother, Parent, Woman’s Day, etc, all from Rewards Gold. was once even able to grab a Martha Stewert Living on there

Yay!! Been waiting for this one Goob. Did the surveys and qualified— Thank you so much.

Hcarr, I got the free 6-month WSJ supscription that Goob referred to in his post. It’s totally legitimate, and I’m already one month into my subscription. I receive daily publications of WSJ (except on the weekends ofc)

I felt like I was back in college trying to fill space and words by retyping the original question! :)

  13. #13 Lisa |

It kept bombing out on me and I was unable to move past the question about what I keep in my wallet. It kept telling me to limit my response to 14 characters and when I did so, it still did not work. Tried several times then gave up!

  14. #14 Jim |

I cannot figure it out. It tells me that I can do the surveys to earn the reward but only directs me to the “refer 3 friends to earn the award” page.

  15. #15 Kristin |

worked just fine for me :) thanks !!!

  16. #16 Rev Robin |

AWESOME Goob. Thanks soooo much. My Daddy will LOVE IT!!!!

To Jim #4; Just create a couple more “free” email addresses for yourself. This is what I do when I don’t want to burden family and friends with this sort of stuff. They come in very handy when companies ask for more email addresses. They also afford you “extra entries” in many online sweeps and contests without bothering anyone. You can simply “delete” the emails afterwards.
**A little underhanded? Perhaps…..but, ya do what ya can!!

Do this and I’m sure it’ll go right through. Don’t give up cause this is an awesome find. This subscription is normally VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

  18. #18 Rev Robin |

#13 Lisa….DON’T GIVE UP!!!! The exact same thing happened to me. At first I was stumped and erased almost my whole entire first question. MISTAKE!!!

What they mean by this is one of the questions where it says, “How do you choose a restaurant?” I clicked on “other” and then typed in “quality of food”. (This was NOT a choice- yeah, I know- stupid)
Well, they want you to type no more than 14 characters (they count the spaces between words too) so I simply typed in “food”. THAT WORKED!! But, then had to type the entire first para again!! (Felt really dumb)
Do this and I guarantee it will go thru cause I had the exact same prob and it took me awhile to fig it out.

    It’s dead now…

Sweet, I saw you’ve been receiving it, and I kinda wanted to, too. Not because I’m interested, but because it’s free newspaper subscription lol. Because of heyitsfree I’ve been getting lots of cool free magazine subscriptions delivered to my college, and now my dad is going to be receiving the wall-street journal, something I’m sure he’ll enjoy reading over his daily cup of coffee.

    Once again, thank you.

  21. #21 Tanya |

TOO MANY QUESTIONS Plus MIN WORDS ON ANSWERS. I quit it is not worth it.

  22. #22 Skyler |

Me again; my dad called and asked if I subscribed him to the Wall Street Journal — what he referred to as his favorite paper. I told him yes, and that it was free.

    He’s very happy.

    thanks, HIF.
