It can get a little confusing keeping track of all the great, free in-store kids events. So I've put together this comprehensive list of all the stores we track!

Home Depot – These monthly events are held from 9am-noon on the first Saturday of each month. They're designed for children aged 5-12 and pre-registration is required.

JCPenney – The Kids Zone events are each month on the second Saturday. They include a freebie to take home, ID badge, lanyard, collector's pin, and more. Parents also receive a free 10% coupon good for that day online.

Lowe's – Their free monthly kids DIY events are back as of 2021! Registration opens a month early and then you pick the kits up curbside at your local Lowe's.

Michaels – As of 2024, these free in-store events are back! They tend to last for 2 hours, all supplies are included, and you need to RSVP your spot.

Apple – Their summer Apple Camp should release 2024 details in late spring.

Bass Pro Shops – Their summer events typically run throughout June, July, or August.

Lego – These monthly-themed events have recently shifted to varying days, depending on your local store. But kids still get to build a take-home LEGO toy. Some Hiffers have reported their local Lego stores have already phased these events out, so please make sure to call ahead!

Target – They're monthly events are held on random Saturdays, usually near the end of the month, during late morning hours. They're often related to upcoming kids movies or events, with free games, prizes, and giveaway.

All you have to do is click on “Use Offer” to save the deal to your PayPal Wallet. Then shop through the Subway app and pay for your order with PayPal at checkout. Your $5 discount will then be automatically applied to your purchase. Please note, your discount will not be displayed when checking out in app, but will be applied automatically to your qualifying purchase as long as you have successfully loaded the offer to your PayPal account. You can verify this by checking your PayPal “Wallet” section after you've clicked “Save Offer.”

The promo didn't start until today, so I'd imagine this will be available for at least another few days. I don't see it lasting until May 30 though.

  • Click on the bright orange “Have Pampers?” plus button at the bottom of the home screen.
  • Select “Diapers” then hit the orange “Let's start” button.
  • On the bottom left, click “Type in” to manually enter codes.

How to Request Freebies While Securing Your Email! 📧

Freebies are awesome and you'll never hear me say otherwise. However there is one implied caveat that many people fail to overlook. When you request a freebie, you'll almost always be asked for an email address. Why? Because the companies want to spam the ever loving bejesus out of you. (I believe that's the scientific term.)

Luckily there's an incredibly simple solution to saving your work or personal inbox from a flood of spam: make a new email!

The more permanent solution, and the one I suggest, is to make a free account on Gmail. If you want to enter a fake name, feel free! Heck, I even made my email super easy to remember and direct to the point. [email protected] or [email protected] and other variations will always be available.

Freebie Pro Tip with Gmail

No matter what your Gmail address is, you can add a plus sign then anything you want and you'll still be able to get the email. Most freebie that repeatedly return only allow for one free sample per email address. However, with this trick, most systems interpret your email as new and you always get the freebie. 😎

For instance, if your freebie email is [email protected], then use [email protected] the first time. Then, when requesting the sample again later, use [email protected] the next time.

You can literally use [email protected] and the forms will always go through!

If you're looking to avoid creating an account altogether, then Generator Email is the way to go. It's the best site available that I personally use on an almost daily basis. It lets you create a free and disposable email address with the simple click of a button. All email sent to that account can be immediately deleted after you click any confirmation links and you never have to remember any passwords.

No matter what, make sure you use a freebie email account specifically for freebies!
